John Houston Entertainment: Kevin Skinner and Jonathan Hay back at it!!!

Kevin Skinner and Jonathan Hay are back at it and John Houston Entertainment has officially relaunched.  John Houston Entertainment helped superstar Whitney Houston ink a long-term deal with LA Reid and Arista Records which secured the singer a $100 million contract.  Kevin Skinner recalls John Houston’s last words: “His dying wishes were ‘please help and pray for Whitney’ and he asked us to ‘keep the company alive.’” John [pictured above] left his company, John Houston Entertainment and its legacy in the hands of Kevin Skinner.

John Houston Entertainment remained quiet for two years after John Houston’s death. During this time, Kevin Skinner named Jonathan Hay the Vice President of John Houston Entertainment, after much time of grooming him for the position. At Skinner’s request, Jonathan Hay began aggressively focusing on publicity for the relaunch of John Houston Entertainment. One of the company’s first projects was to be for a brand new single called “Pon de Replay” by a then-unknown teenage artist from Barbados named Rihanna.  Kevin Skinner orchestrated the publicity venture between Vada Nobles and Jonathan Hay and was hired to bring out the first major publicity for her debut single, which ended up being a massive hit record and helped launch Rihanna into worldwide superstardom.  They also followed up this work with Hillary Duff’s Dignity release with the hit singles “With Love” and “Stranger” both co-produced by Nobles and also “I Wasn’t Kidding” by Angie Stone.

John Houston Entertainment took a brief hiatus for a few years while Skinner focused on building his Skinnervision and working on many major motion picture projects, while Hay focused on his Jonathan Hay Publicity and his Hoopla companies (Hoopla Media Group and Hoopla Worldwide).  Now with all those things built, the infrastructure for John Houston Entertainment is stronger than ever.
